D4EQU1 provides a set of 75ohms RF Analog Equalizer designed to meet the requirements of DOCSIS4.0 specifications in terms of Downstream and Upstream power attenuation tilt versus RF frequency. The D4EQU1 device is used for the test of DOCSIS4.0 equipment. When the device is inserted between a DOCSIS4.0 Node/CMTS and a DOCSIS4.0 Cable Modem, it emulates the cable attenuation tilt that would exist in actual cable network architecture defined by DOCSIS specifications without the burden of using the full Cable Model and its high in-path attenuation.
